Be careful
For foreigners, it’s not very clear why this is called the “Path of Literature”.

Even so
- There are literary monuments and lines of poetry along the path, making it fun to see while strolling.
- The scenery of the Onomichi canal and walking path is beautiful, making the walk enjoyable.
- It’s a good place to take a relaxed walk and feel both the literature and the local atmosphere.
It’s nice to walk slowly down from the Ropeway Summit Station toward Senkoji Park and Senkoji Temple. You’ll be more satisfied if you treat it as a route to enjoy the scenery while reading the literary monuments.
