Be careful
There are many stairs, and going up and down is physically tiring. The grounds are small, so it’s hard to spend a long time exploring.

- 2There isn’t much to see inside the temple; it’s mainly about the views.
Even so
- The views are great, with Onomichi city and the sea visible at a glance.
- It has a quiet temple atmosphere and is pleasant for a walk.
- You can choose to go up by ropeway or on foot.
You’ll be happier if you think of it as a place to enjoy the scenery. If you’re not very fit, take the ropeway; if you have time, it’s nice to walk down and enjoy the alleys and views.
