The view is only good when the weather is nice. There’s no shade, so it feels hot and uncomfortable.

- You get a sweeping view of Onomichi city, the bridge, and the sea at a glance.
- The observatory has a unique structure and is great for photos.
- It’s easy to get up there by ropeway.
Go on a clear day and avoid the hottest hours. After taking the ropeway, it’s nice to visit the observatory and the nearby walking trails together.
