What's disappointing
- The miso tonkatsu sauce tastes like jajang (black bean) sauce, which might be polarizing
- The tonkatsu part of the fried shrimp cutlet is a common flavor found in Korea, lacking a special touch
- Cash only; credit cards are not accepted
- Very crowded, requiring a wait starting 30 minutes before opening
What's still okay
- The shrimp size is very large
- Generous amount of green onions
- Can use plenty of cabbage dressing at the table to cut through the greasiness of the fried food
- Korean translations are available on the menu
If you still go
Make sure to bring enough cash. If you don't like fried food or greasiness, use plenty of cabbage dressing. If you're not a fan of jajang sauce flavors, it's best to avoid the miso tonkatsu.
