If there's interior construction or lots of snow, fewer buildings can be entered. Walking through the whole area takes a lot of time and energy.

- A large open-air museum with many buildings and areas, so there's plenty to see.
- You can go inside many of the buildings yourself.
Go on a nice day and wear comfortable shoes. It's accessible by bus from Shin-Sapporo, and it's efficient to combine it with the Hokkaido Museum or use a combo ticket.
